Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Tajewal and Tohana 3 each, Narwana 2 and Naraingarh 1, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta Sahib 4, Kangra 3 and Berthin, Guler, Nagrota Surian, Pandoh, Sujanpurtira and Una 1 each, Jammmu and Kashmir: Srinagar 2, Punjab: Ludhiana 9, Patiala 2 and Nangal 1, east Rajasthan: Sahapura 3, Alniadam, Bhimsagar, Mandalna and Rahuwas 2 each and Asnawar, Amer, Badgaon, Bhilwara, Chandsen, Dara Colony, Gotala, Gopalpura, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Kota AP, Rainbasera, Sikri, Sandesar, Sambhar, Tordisagar and Tonk 1 each, west Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 3, east Uttar Pradesh: Katerniaghat 6, west Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 4, Uttaranchal: Joshimath 2 and Banbasa 1, Chandigarh 3.
