Second win for Guru Harikrishan School

Guru Harikrishan Public School beat SAN Model High School by 18 runs to register their second win in a row in the Ist Surinder Saini Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament (boys u-19) being organised by the Sunflower Professionals Academy at the Ballonkey Road, Haibowal Kalan, here today. Batting first, Guru Harikrishan Public School made 132 runs after losing four wickets. Karan Puri and Manpreet played well and contributed 49 and 19 runs, respectively. In reply, SAN Jain Model High School could scored 114 runs in their quota of 20 overs. Cricket tourneyThe Ist Sunflower Champions Trophy will be organised from September 1 at the Sunflower Professionals Academy, Ballankey Road, Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana. According to press note issued here today by Mr Rakesh Saini, former Punjab Ranji player and organiser of the tournament, this will be a knock-out meet. The winners of this tournament will get a cash prize of Rs 7,100 while the runner-up will pocket Rs 5,100.
