Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported from most places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are east Rajasthan: Jaitpura 9, Basuwa, Bijolia, Gangrar and Kothari Dam 7 each, Bahadurpur, Chanda Ka Talab, Kotri and Sapau 6 each, Mandalgarh and Radiadam 5 each, Lalsot, Vijay Nagar and Vardha Dam 4 each, Arwardam, Bari, Badi Sadri, Gudha Dam, Gulabpura, Govindgarh, Hurda, Jawahar Sagar, Kota Bairaj, Moral, Nahar Sagar, Rana Pratap Sagar, Rahuwas, Sareri, Sawar and Urmilsagar 3 each, Alnia Dam, Bassi Dam, Narayan Sagar, Silari, Shahpura and Umed Sagar 2 each and Badesar, Bhawani Mandi, Chittorgarh, Dholpur, Dara Colony, Gambiri Dam, Jahazpur, Jaipur, Kota AP, Kapasan, Sawai Madhopur, Sagwara and Udai Sagar 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Basti 10, Kakrahi 8, Bansi 7, Gorakhpur 3 and Mukhlispur 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 1, Uttaranchal: Banbasa and Uttarkashi 4 each, Marora 3, Dehra Dun 2 and Tehri 1 and Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath 4.
