Lyngdoh to visit Gujarat today
New Delhi, August 7
In a significant decision, the three-member Election Commission of India headed by CEC J. M. Lyngdoh will make a three-day visit to Gujarat starting tomorrow for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation. The visit is significant for the fact that this is the first time that all members of the multi-member Election Commission were visiting a state before taking a decision on holding the poll. PTI
