Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. The chief amount of rainfall in cm is: Himachal Pradesh: Sujanpurtira 12, Nagrotasurian 11, Nahan 10, Guler 8, Una 7, Pandoh and Paonta 5 each and Kahu, Sunibhajji and Shimla 3 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 9, Punjab: Nangal 3, and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 7, Dehra Dun and Uttarkashi 6 each, Banbasa 5, Mrora 4, Pantnagar and Tehri 3 each, Joshimath and Rudraprayag 2 each and Mukteshwar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 6: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
