Raju, Wassan CBI Joint Directors
New Delhi, June 17
The government has cleared the names of Mr R.V. Raju and Mr N.R. Wassan for the post of Joint Directors in the CBI, two months after the board of the investigative agency cleared their names for the same. The CBI Board cleared the names of Mr M.L. Sharma, Mr Raju and Mr N.R. Wassan to fill three of the five vacancies of Joint Directors in the CBI. PTI

Ex-MLA’s son killed
Patna, June 17
A former Bihar MLA’s son was stabbed to death in post-byelection violence near here last night. Two persons, including the husband of a candidate for the post of the Ward Commissioner, had been named accused, the police said. UNI
