Maleeha Lodhi may replace Sattar
Islamabad, June 8
Pakistan Ambassador to the USA Maleeha Lodhi is likely to replace Mr Abdus Sattar as Foreign Minister. Media reports said on Saturday that Dr Lodhi was among top runners for the slot. Other candidates included incumbent Foreign Secretary Inam-ul Haq, but he was due to retire soon, and former foreign secretaries Najmuddin Sheikh and Shaharyar Mohammad Khan, Dawn, quoting sources, said.
