Panjab University is all set to have regular Boards of Studies for more than 50 subjects at the undergraduate level after nearly an year and a half. The boards could not be constituted because of the Senate’s graduates constituency litigation, due to which counting of votes had been kept pending.

Administrator gets more fiscal powers

Vulture catching plan okayed

The Government of India has given its consent to the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) for catching the nearly extinct gyps species of vultures from all over the country. These will be closely monitored in order to assess the reasons for their declining population at the Vulture Breeding and Research Centre, Pinjore.
