Cuban troupe to perform at Dilli Haat

New Delhi, March 1
The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation Ltd (DTTDC) in association with the Cultural Department of Cuba is organising a musical extravaganza by a Cuban group, Son Havana, at Dilli Haat on March 3.

The group will present a music competition in which artistes like Juan Carlos Diaz Lopez, Yvonne Ramirez, Acosta, Joaquin Fernandez Gurardado and Juan De Dios Rojas Caballero will give performance in genres and rhythms of general music of that country, including that of salsa, meregue, cumbia, guaguanco, cha cha cha, samba, bolero, son, bossa nova, ballada pop, disco, ranchera, el latin beat, techno etc.

According the Delhi tourism, the programme will help in developing tourism and cultural relations between India and Cuba. The famous international troupe had given performances in many cities around the world, including Beijing, Milan, Greece, Mexico, Turin and Mumbai. Delhi Tourism Minister Ajay Maken and the Cuban Ambassador Jose Eloy Valdes will be the guests of honour at the programme.
