Ex-MLA convicted in rape case
Patna, February 27
A Patna court has pronounced former Bihar MLA Hemlata Yadav and her son guilty in the sensational rape case of Champa Biswas, wife of a senior IAS officer. Additional District and Sessions Judge H.K. Srivastava on Tuesday held Yadav, former RJD MLA and her son Mrityunjay, alias Babloo, guilty in the case. The court, however, deferred till March 6 the announcement of their sentence. PTI
