Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Rajasthan: Kota 7, Sawai Madhopur 5, Rawatbhata 2 and Ajmer and Jaipur 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Agra 2 and Bareilly and Jhansi 1 each. Kota reported hailstorm.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and rose elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Rajasthan, below normal in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.8°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 13: Rain or snow will occur at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in west Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in west Rajasthan. Isolated hailstorms or thundersqualls are likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during next 48 hours. Heavy rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 13: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain/thundershowers. Weather is likely to improve towards tomorrow afternoon. Cold day. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
