hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana,
Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and rose elsewhere. Departures: They
were appreciably below normal in Rajasthan, below normal in Haryana
and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh
and normal in rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains
was 0.8°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until
the morning of February 13: Rain or snow will occur at most places
in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at many places in Jammu and
Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in west
Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and
east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in west Rajasthan. Isolated
hailstorms or thundersqualls are likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan
