32 hurt in clash
Tamluk (West Bengal), February 11
At least 32 persons, including 12 policemen, were injured in a pitched battle between Trinamool Congress supporters and the police in front of the District Magistrate’s bungalow here today. SP Anuj Sharma, SDPO Kalyan Sinha and 10 constables sustained injuries. Twenty supporters were also injured in the clash. UNI

ESMA invoked in Kerala, 4 held
Thiruvananthapuram, February 11
The Kerala Government today invoked ESMA, arresting four employees as the indefinite stir continued to paralyse the state administration for the sixth today.
At least 12 more persons were arrested from different parts of the state in connection with the strike launched to demand be restoration of curtailed benefits. PTI
