Mishra gets bail

The Patna High Court today granted bail to former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra in connection with a conspiracy angle case of the multi-crore rupee fodder scam. Mr Justice Narain Roy issued the direction to release Dr Mishra in this case after hearing the bail petition filed by him. The case was related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 45 lakh from Bhagalpur treasury on the fake bills issued by the Animal Husbandry Department during 1994-95. UNI
