Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ayanagar (Delhi) 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3, east Rajasthan: Kishangarh, Laxmangarh, Puskar and Sikar 1 each and east Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur 7, Birdghat 5, Regoli 3, Khadda 2 and Gorakhpur and Jaunpur 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 10: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of September 10: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development and light rain in some areas.
