Rain or thundershowers have been reported at many places in east Uttar
Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and
at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and
Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of
rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chandigarh 1, Himachal Pradesh: Nadaun 3
and Guler and Sujanpur Tira 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 5, east
Uttar Pradesh: Khadda 25, Bansi 19, Kakrahi and Regoli 17 each,
Mukhlishpur 16, Basti 13, Ayodhya 12, Sultanpur 11, Jaunpur 10,
Birdghat 8, Turtipar 7, Gorakhpur 6, Raibareli and Varanasi AP 4 each,
Balrampur and Chhatnag 3 each, Allahabad, Dalmau and Ghazipur 2 each
and Chandradeepghat and Kanpur 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 1. Forecast
