Cloudburst

Six persons were today feared dead in a cloudburst at Uttaranchal’s rain-lashed Tehri district, the police said. Police spokesman Anil K. Raturi said the District Magistrate and the Tehri Superintendent of Police had left for Gona village situated in the Ghansali block, about 160 km from the Doon valley. He said some animals were also feared killed in the cloudburst. UNI
