Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bangana, Bharwain and Kangra (2 each) and Barsar (1) and east Uttar Pradesh: Regoli (5), Kakrahi and Khadda (2 each) and Birdghat and Ballia 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of 30th August: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 30th August: Mainly clear sky. Maximum temperature will be around 38°C.
