Amnesty writes to Advani

The Amnesty International today sent an open letter to Home Minister L.K. Advani expressing concern about the possibility of granting some relief to police personnel charged with the violation of human rights while dealing with insurgency. “No one should be allowed to operate outside the law,” it said.
