City teams lift throwball title

Ludhiana, August 27
Local girls and boys teams won the Punjab State Throwball Tournament organised by the Punjab Throwball Association at Sargodha Khalsa Senior Secondary School, here yesterday.

More than 500 players from 17 districts participated. In the final, Ludhiana boys defeated Kapurthala, while in the girls’ section hosts beat Fatehgarh Sahib.

Mr Jaswant Singh Nagi, local industrialist, inaugurated the tournament and all three Principals of Sargodha Schools, Ms Manjeet, Ms Parminder Kaur, Ms Tejinder Kaur, were present on the occasion.
