‘Charitable hospitals serving humanity’

Ludhiana, August 25
“The charitable hospitals are serving for humanity by helping the poor and needy patients”, said Mr Justice R.P. Sethi, Judge, Supreme Court, while addressing members of the ‘Hari-Bhari’, a national environment saving society at Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Hospital here today.

Mr Justice Sethi appreciated the services rendered by the hospital for the welfare of patients. He said the hospital initially started with a small dispensary, had now established its name in the country. He said the management committee of the GTB Hospital was responsible for all the development works.

The Judge earlier laid the foundation stone of the ICCU Complex of the hospital. He appealed to the doctors to work with devotion for the humanity.

Mr Bharatvir Singh Sobti, president, Hari-Bhari, Dr Wahegurupal Singh, Medical Superintendent, GTB Hospital and Ms G.K.Walia, Principal, Nursing Institute, also addressed.

The other guests included Lala Lajpat Rai, Justice M.L.Singal, Mr Arunvir Vashisht, Mr Amardeep Singh and Mr Kuldeep Singh.
