Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh.Weather was dry in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chandigarh 1, Himachal Pradesh: Nagrotasurian 11, Guler 9, Ghamroor 8, Kangra 7, Kasol, Nadaun, Pandoh, Shimla and Sundernagar 4 each, Berthin, Bangana and Sujanpur Tira 3 each and Dehragopipur, Paonta and Rohru 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 2 and Katra and Pahalgam 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 2 and Balachaur 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur 16, Bansi 12, Chandradeepghat, Kakrahi and Kanpur 6 each, Sultanpur 5, Allahabad 3, Basti, Khadda, Kakardharighat, Neemsar, Palliakalan and Regoli 2 each and Mukhlispur and Turtipar 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 1 and Uttaranchal: Bausan 15, Banbasa 2 and Dharipur 1.
