Monsoon has been vigorous in Rajasthan and active in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershower have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Kasol, Kahu and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar 4, Batote 3, and Pahalgam 1, Punjab: Ropar 7, Kharar 4 and Nawanshahr 2, east Rajasthan: Bhilwara 11, Arigucha, Mandal and Mejadam 7 each, Ajmer, Dataramgarh, Gulabpura and Jaipur 4 each, Banera, Kotari, Moraldam, Mandalgarh and Raipur 3 each and Kota 1, west Rajasthan: Palli and Surpura 10 each, Osian 5, Lalsot and Jodhpur 3 each, Bilara, Gopalgarh and Shergarh 2 each and Girinanda 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 3 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 6.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 26: Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
