places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and
Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and
west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. The
chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh 6; Himachal
Pradesh: Nahan 2 and Kasauli 1; Punjab: Ludhiana 13 and Halwara 6;
Rajasthan: Churu, Suratgarh and Sriganganagar 1 each; Uttar Pradesh:
Jhansi 12 and Sultanpur 2.

thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,
