Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kahsmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Narwana 2 and Ayanagar (Delhi) and Rohtak 1 each, Jammu 1, Adampur 2 and Ajmer 1.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Rajasthan, fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were largely below normal in Punjab, markedly below normal in Haryana, below normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.8°C recorded at Nal AP (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid the morning of June12: Rain or thudnershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan. Thundersqualls are likely at isolted places in Haryana and Punjab.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of June 12: Light rain will occur at a few places.
