Musharraf invited to Ajmer dargah

Pakistan military ruler Gen Pervez Musharraf was today invited to visit the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty in Ajmer. Gen Musharraf, who has accepted Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s invitation to come to India for talks, is expected to visit New Delhi in late June or early July. Maulana Peerzada Naqshabandi of the dargah, who met the Pakistan High Commissioner Ashraf Jahangir Qazi today, later told mediapersons that an invitation to Gen Musharraf to visit the dargah had been extended.
