Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh, fell in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.9C recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of 13th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorms/thunderstorms are likely in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 13th: Dust haze with possibility of thundery development and light rain accompanied with squall in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 39° C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of 13th: Light rain and squalls with wind speed exceeding 65km/hr are likely at isolated places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
