Nitu, Balakrishan best athletes

Balakrishan and Ms Nitu Chandna were adjudged the best athletes in men and women sections, respectively at the annual athletic meet of the local Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Sector 26, today. Earlier, Mr K.K. Dhiman, Principal of the college, inaugurated the meet and the medals were given by Prof C.L. Dhanija and Prof R.K. Kanwal of the college.

Results are: 100 m (boys): Ritesh 1, Sumit 2, Shamsher 3; girls: Bhawna 1, Ritu 2, Anita 3; shot put (boys): Jatin 1, Shamsher 2, Balakrishan 3; (girls): Nidhi 1, Nitu 2, Ashimeen 3; discus throw (girls): Nidhi 1, Manju 2, Suman 3. (boys): Balakrishan 1, Rajinder 2, Sumit 3 and Sukhdeep 3; long jump (boys): Balakrishan 1, Umang 2, Ravinder 3 (girls): Nitu 1, Nidhi 2, Manju 3; 200 m (boys): Balakrishan 1,Umang 2, Ravinder 3; (girls): Nitu 1, Savita 2, Amrit kaur 3; 400 m (boys): Sumit 1, Balakrishan 2, Reetash 3; (girls): Archna 1, Nitu 2 and Amrit 3.
