Rabri’s brother gives privilege notice
PATNA, Feb 5 (PTI) — Facing charge of having intimidated a senior bureaucrat, Anirudh Prasad, alias Sadhu Yadav, MLA brother of Chief Minister Rabri Devi, has given a privilege notice against State Transport Commissioner N. K. Sinha and others for allegedly implicating him in a false case. The notice was given on February 2.

Arrest warrant
SHILLONG, Feb 5 (UNI) — Shillong Sessions Court Judge U Barlaskar today issued a bailable arrest warrant against Assam Transport Minister Pradip Hazarika for his repeated failure to appear before the court in the Parthasarathi murder case.

Jharkhand bandh
RANCHI, Feb 5 (PTI) — The police resorted to lathi charge when supporters of the 12-hour Jharkhand bandh brandished traditional tribal weapons in the air injuring an RAF jawan here today, a senior police official said. About 500 bandh supporters were arrested from different places in the state capital.
