Wife sentenced for beating up husband
LUDHIANA, Nov 28 — Wife bashing is a common occurence but in a unique case, Mr Ashok Kumar, Judicial Magistrate (First Class), has sentenced Lakhbir Kaur to one-and-a-half-year imprisonment for beating up her husband, Rajinder Singh.

DORAHA, Nov 28 — In a special campaign initiated by Mr Ram Singh, Superintendent of Police (Operation), Payal, students were educated about the role of police personnel in the security of the people. 6-year-old dies in accident
LUDHIANA, Nov 28 — Raju, a six year-old child, died in a collision between school and police vans at the Jalandhar bypass chowk here this morning.
