Antakshri by Asian Club
From Our Correspondent

LUDHIANA, Nov 28 — Asian Club International organised an inter- class antakshri competition at Arya College yesterday. The musical programme was inaugurated by Mr V.K. Mehta, Principal of the college.

Four teams with three members and five supporters in each team participated. The organisers had arranged five rounds for the participants. The game started with the traditional round and was followed by the ''word'' round in which a particular word was given to the participants and they had to start the song with that word. However, the students were little confused with the antra-mukhda round.

Then came a good mixture of suspense and laughter when the students guessed the ulat-pulat round. It was basically a jumbled word round and the audience had real fun during the round. The translation round added flavour to the event with some of the participants making wrong guesses.

Special questions were prepared for the audience and 23 prizes were given to them.

Famous Punjabi actress Sarabjit Mangat was honoured on the occasion and the two songs which she performed during the event were appreciated by all. The show was prepared by Mr Ravi Nandan Sharma and Mr Sukhminder Singh compered it.
