Move to tax industrial premises
ZIRAKPUR, Nov 2 — The Zirakpur Nagar Panchayat proposes to levy house tax on commercial buildings and plots used for business purposes to raise funds for development.

Sec 17 to have 170 stalls
CHANDIGARH, Nov 2 — Almost on the same lines as last year, the Municipal Corporation authorities will be giving permission to set up only 170 stalls in the main Sector 17 Piazza for Divali and pre-Divali sales. The stalls will be set up for three days starting November 5.

SAS NAGAR, Nov 2 — The Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) has formulated a policy regarding the maintenance of road berms in its urban estates.
