Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to expand his Council of Ministers on Sunday. The BJP has told its allies to nominate their representatives by tomorrow. Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, whose meeting with the PM and party chief Amit Shah on Wednesday triggered speculation of him being shifted to the Centre, today said he would accept any assignment given to him by the Prime Minister.

Ramandeep Singh, alias Goldy Punjab Police today announced the arrest of the alleged high-profile terrorist, Ramandeep Singh, alias Goldy, from Chennai Airport immediately after he was brought there from Malaysia. He was first spotted in Thailand. Khalistan Tiger Force terrorist Goldy was wanted for the July 2009 killing of Rulda Singh, president Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, an outfit of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and for twin blasts in Patiala and Ambala in August 2010.

ISIS terror army recruiting Indians
New Delhi, November 6
Indian security agencies have reportedly found that 12 local terrorist modules have recruited nearly 70 youths for ISIS activities. The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a radical outfit, which had split from the al Qaeda in February, and aims at establishing a Caliphate (Islamic State) in Iraq and Syria.

Navy vessel sinks off Vizag coast, one dead
New Delhi, November 6
A sailor was killed and four others went missing after a torpedo recovery vessel of the Indian Navy (A 72) sunk 30 miles east of Visakhapatnam in the Bay of Bengal today. Twenty-three others have been rescued, while search is on for those missing.

Kapil disappointed as coach: Tendulkar

Kapil Dev the coach was a personal disappointment to Sachin Tendulkar, who has revealed this in his recently-published autobiography, Playing It My Way. Tendulkar, who was the captain of the Indian team when Kapil Dev was appointed coach, wrote that the great allrounder did not involve himself in discussions on strategy and planning.
