The investigations into the cheating racket busted by the Chandigarh Police during the Railway Recruitment Board Group D exam has revealed that each candidate, who was provided with the answer keys to questions before the exam on cellphone, was supposed to pay around Rs 3 lakh to a middleman.

The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation will shift 88 head of cattle to gaushalas in Punjab on Wednesday.
The civic body had signed an MOU with the gaushalas in this regard. City Mayor Subhash Chawla stated that 1,000 head of cattle would be shifted to two gaushalas at Chandpur Rurki village and Bhaddi village
in Garhshankar and Nawanshahr. “Eleven trucks will shift the animals to Chandpur
Rurki," he stated.
