Punjabi at heart

I genuinely wanted to make a Punjabi film with an interesting script." The effect of his repetition is that by the end of the interview, everybody is convinced that Akshay Kumar doesn't mean business… quite literally!

Deepak Kurki Shivaswamy chose to become a dancer pretty early in life. A contemporary performing artiste from Bangalore, Deepak is happy using his medium to 'tell'. In Chandigarh, for Contemporary Dance Festival organised by Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, he brought his piece NH7. The theme emerged from the personal experience of seeing his hometown grow.
