BJP begins 'Ghar Ghar Chalo' campaign

Hoshiarpur, November 10
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started its "Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan" to reach out to voters in Hoshiarpur.

The campaign is an attempt to count the "achievements of the NDA in contrast with the failures of the UPA".

The workers started going from door-to-door and distributed handbills and booklets to warm up its pre-election campaign in the state. The literature being distributed by the party contains booklets and pamphlets written in Hindi and Punjabi in which they are drawing comparison between what the BJP-led NDA achieved against what the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) failed to achieve.

Senior BJP leader Balramji Dass Tandon, had on Friday addressed the meeting of BJP district unit and deputed various morcha leaders and senior leaders to start its "Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan”. —OC
