Man killed in road mishap

Hoshiarpur, November 6
One person was killed and another seriously injured in an accident late on Wednesday evening at the Tanda road on the outskirts of the city near Hardokhanpur village.

As per information, Inderjit Singh of Pathial Lachowal village was going on his motorcycle, along with his companion, when his vehicle collided with a truck parked on the road.

Inderjit was killed on the spot and the other person was seriously injured. They were taken to Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur. The injured, who is critical, could not be identified. The truck driver fled from the scene after the incident. — OC
