Telangana row: Jaganmohan Reddy to begin indefinite fast from today Vishakhapatnam, Oct 05 (ANI): YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy will launch an indefinite fast in Hyderabad from Saturday in protest against the decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh by carving out a Telangana state. Reddy will fast in front of the YSR Congress office and urge the central government to withdraw its decision. Reddy's party is expecting a massive turnout for the protest fast from the other two regions of the state, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh, jointly known as "Seemandhra".
Gujarat CAG report: None states under BJP in good condition, says Rita Bahuguna New Delhi, Oct 05 (ANI): After the CAG in Gujarat said in its report that every third child in the state is underweight, President of Congress unit in UP, Rita Bahuguna said that BJP is expert in lying and that none of the states under its governance is in a good situation. BJP confident of winning Chhattisgarh again: Raman Singh Raipur, Oct 05 (ANI): Hoping for peaceful elections in the state, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would definitely form the government again. Earlier on Friday Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath announced the polling dates for five states, including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled Chhattisgarh would be the first state to go to polls.
