Sachin to play his 200th Test in India New Delhi, Sep 02 (ANI): Sachin Tendulkar is all set to play his 200th Test on the Indian soil with the BCCI's working committee approving a proposed two-Test series against the West Indies in November. The series schedule is also likely to include five One-day Internationals. The test matches are likely to be played in Kolkata and Mumbai. After a meeting on Kolkata on Sunday, the BCCI working committee also gave the green signal to a two-Test and five match ODI series in New Zealand in January-February and a five-Test, five ODIs and a T20 international series in England from July to September. Assuming he figures in both Tests, Sachin would become the first player in cricket's history to play 200 Tests.
Hospital staff rapes mentally challenged woman in Pune Pune, Sep 02 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old destitute and mentally challenged woman was raped by the watchman and ward boy of a government-run hospital in Pune in a lift, where she was admitted. The woman was raped on Thursday (August 29), though the gory incident was brought to light on Sunday when the victim was brought back to her shelter home. The news of the severe brutality soon called up a mass protest by local women outside Bhosri Police Station. The police said that they had already arrested two of the accused persons and presented them before the court.
