Govt lifts ban on ‘Saada Haq’: The Haryana Government has lifted the ban on film "Saada Haq" subject to condition that the observations of the Supreme Court and provisions of other applicable laws are complied with and only the corrected version having certification from the Central Board of Film Certification exhibited. A notification to this effect has been issued by the Home Department.

Woman PO arrested: A woman proclaimed offender (PO) Pummy of Shahabad has been arrested. District police chief Rakesh Kumar Arya said a case was registered against her at the Shahabad police station on May 8, 2002, and since then she had been absconding. The court had declared her a PO on December 13, 2003.
