PM urges industrialized countries to finance clean energy initiatives 
New Delhi, April 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that industrialised countries should lead in financing sustainable and green energy projects to lower carbon emissions. Addressing the 4th Clean Energy Ministerial in New Delhi today, he said the industrialised countries are mostly responsible for harmful emissions and it is their imperative to provide workable solutions.

BJP demands Law Minister’s ouster over coal scam report
Kolkata/New Delhi, April 17 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded removal of law minister Ashwani Kumar for allegedly directing changes in the coal scam report prepared by the CBI. The Congress contended that the CBI functioned independent of the government.
