Chandigarh Interactive website for NRIs soon: The state has set up a mechanism in the form of an interactive website to redress grievances and take up various issues pertaining to the NRIs belonging to the state. The website will be launched by end of next month, said Bikram Singh Majithia, NRI Affairs Minister. Rules to make state smoke-free issued: A state-level meeting of senior officers of the Health Department was held here on Wednesday. The move aims at making Punjab a tobacco and smoke-free state. She also released health workers' guide in Punjabi so that the field-level workers are sensitised about the law and the importance of its effective implementation. Giving this information, Dr SS Khaira, Dean, Academic Affairs, said the last date to submit admission forms for various courses without late fee is June 26, 2013 while the last date with late fee of Rs 500 is July 1, 2013; Rs 1,000 to July 5, 2013 and with late fee of Rs 2,000 up to the interview day.
