INIFD is all set to showcase the work of its budding designers at 'The Source' during the Lakme Fashion Week from March 22 to 26 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The resplendent ensembles by the future designers blend the traditional with the abstract mosaics, giving the silhouettes a modern tinge.

Driving force
"Why aren't there any pop-stars, everybody either has to be a music star or a Bollywood star? Why can't there be more Britney Spears?" Music producer Bally Sagoo cannot understand why someone wouldn't want to become a pop-star! He, however, would love to see many in the near future. Well, future cannot be predicted, but what can be is how his album Future Shock is doing in the present!

On Monday, the Lalit Kala Akademi, National Academy of Art, Garhi, in association with the Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi organised a multimedia art workshop at the Government Museum and Art Gallery, Sector 10.

The weekend saw the crème d la crème tasting and sipping exotic wine while enjoying a pleasant evening on the Vilaggio Italiano at the Terrace Grill at Park Plaza. The scene was complete with an array of hors d’ ovures and an umpteen variety of cheese to complement the wine.
