Predictability is certainly not one of Mithu Sen's virtues. The bohemian artist who loves to provoke, shock and seduce her viewers is as art writer Girish Shahane puts it "quite a contrarian." In other words a bundle of surprises. So, for her show in New York while all through the making of her works she invites strangers to her studio, on the opening day she does a vanishing trick only to connect with them personally at a later level.
