Manmohan congratulates new nation’s President

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today greeted the people and government of South Sudan, as it proclaimed itself a new nation on the map of the world. In a letter to the President, Gen Salva Kiir Mayardit, of South Sudan, the Prime Minister applauded the new nation’s commitment to addressing all outstanding issues with North Sudan in an amicable and peaceful manner.
