Rakesh Kumar, a resident of a nearby Sindhwan village, died for the want of blood transfusion as Gurmukh Singh, a resident of the same village could not reach Ludhiana Hospital due to the heavy traffic and lackadaisical attitude of Ladhuwal toll plaza employees. Gurmukh was supposed to donate blood to Rakesh.
