After his remarks on inner party functioning and loyalty, human resource development minister Arjun Singh is coming under attack from his Congress colleagues.
Party president Sonia Gandhi set the tone when she gave him the
proverbial cold shoulder when the two leaders came face to face for the
first time after Arjun Singh’s statements kicked off a storm in the
Congress.

Following an attack on the Nissing police station late last night by an unruly mob, the police had to open fire into the air to disperse it. Though no one sustained injuries, windows and boards at the station were damaged when the crowd threw stones.
