Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chirag Delhi, Chandigarh and Samalkha 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Kaithal and Tajewala 2 each and Bahadurgarh, Gohana, Narwana, Panipat and Uchana 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 4, Ghamroor, Nagrotasurian and Pandoh 3 each, Guler, Jatan Barrage and Kasol 2 each and Bhang, Kangra and Shimla 1 each, Punjab: Nagal 9, Nawanshahr 3 and Batala 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 5, west Rajasthan: Gadra Road 15, Ramsar 7, Chikhli and Galiakot 4 each, Ghatol, Sajangarh, Mount Abu, Chohton and Sanchore 3 each, Pipalkhunt, Garhi, Arthuna, Shergarh, Sallopat, Kushalgarh, Arnod, Barmer, Sedwa and Sindhari 2 each and Gogunda, Kotda, Dhambola, Nithuwa, Banswara, Kesarpura, Bhungra, Loharia, Bagidora, Dhorimana, Baitoo, Gida, Shiv, Jalore, Ahore, Bhinmal and Raniwara 1 each, east Forecast valid until the morning of August 25, 2006: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, southwest Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
