Nothing secret at Pbi varsity
Tribune News Service

Patiala, December 30
The Punjabi University authorities seemed to be the least bothered about secrecy when the letters posted by the secrecy branch of the university were found lying scattered in front of the letter box near the administrative block today.

The incident has shocked employees and students of the university alike as a major section of them said on the one hand the authorities had been claiming that the popularity of the university was on the rise because of better administration while on the other the basic norms meant for making its functioning flawless were being flouted with impunity.

Information gathered by The Tribune revealed that though the secret letters had been lying scattered in front of the letter box for hours together, none of the officials of the university made any effort to set things right.

When a senior official of the university was contacted during working hours, he declined to comment on the issue.

The letters, enclosed in brown envelopes, were supposedly posted to students.
