The CBI today claimed that extradited underworld don Abu Salem has “admitted his role in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts as supplier of arms and ammunition”, even as the agency did not rule out the possibility of subjecting Salem to scientific tests.

Judge orders DGP to book son
Jammu, November 13
Irked over the sting operation in which his son, Mr Anil Sethi, Additional AG, has been shown allegedly demanding a “bribe” of Rs 20 lakh for favourable settlement of the multi-crore scam in the Rural Development Department, Mr Justice R. P. Sethi, chairman of the state’s Accountability Commission, has directed the DGP to register a criminal case against his son.
