Strange, but it is true! Canvassing for the Campus Students Council election has closed even before the final list of candidates has been displayed.

PU poll: list of candidates out
Chandigarh, September 1
The final list of the candidates contesting for the Panjab University Student Council elections for the office of president, vice-president, secretary and joint secretary was displayed at the PU today. The elections are scheduled to be held on September 3.

5 parties, 7 candidates for president’s post

While there are only five parties of students contesting for the ongoing student council elections, scheduled for September 3 on the Panjab University campus, seven students will be contesting for the post of president.

Ajit Karam Singh school wins painting trophy
Ajit Karam Singh International Public School, Chandigarh won the running trophy in the Ninth Annual On The Spot Painting Competition, organised by Hotel Pallavi, today. As many as 327 students from various schools of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali participated in the competition and displayed their artistic potential by making sketches of an umbrella seller.
